“Later, when I recounted this day, someone asked me how I felt . . . and the answer was that I could have started crying. I travelled here as an observer, but now I’m wishing I could sign right up. Unabashed love is as much the structure of St. Sebastian’s as the wood and bricks and mortar.” “I was struck by and would return for the love and joy lavished at St. Sebastian’s . . . ” Shea, S. S. We are a small, growing, progressive congregation in the Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore, MD. We are not part of any denomination, and we welcome people from across all religious and denominational lines to worship, pray, and serve with us in the catholic tradition. During the summer of 2008, we are holding our regular 4:30 pm worship services in the historic First United UCC church building at 1728 Eastern Avenue (followed by refreshments at the church and/or dinner at a nearby restaurant). We are also launching our Christianity 101 series with our host parish, First United.
As our About Us page says:
We welcome everyone to our mass, our sacraments, and our community: No matter who you are, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
